Think of Holland and you probably think of windmills. After all, the Dutch have built them for hundreds of years. But since the 1980's they are no longer quaint ‘sails' padding water. Dutch technology has taken over and the country now produces high tech wind turbines that provide non-polluting electrical generation for grateful countries all over the world.

Wind Energy Solutions (WES) was founded in the Netherlands in 2004. It manufactures small and medium-sized wind turbines ranging from 2.5kW to 250 kW. Although the company is young Dutch engineers have always been at the forefront of wind turbine technology and their turbines have been tried and tested for over twenty years.
