The WREC 2009 - Asia Region incorporates the third International Conference on Sustainable Energy and The Environment (SEE 2009) and the Renewable Energy Asia 2009 (RE Asia) and the 5th SEE forum meeting, and will be co-located with Entech Pollutec Asia 2009 and Renewable Energy Asia 2009 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC).

SEE Forum is an Asia Pacific network of academic, science and technology communities working in the area of sustainable energy and environment. The primary aim of the SEE Forum is to promote new energy initiatives that will contribute to mitigating climate change and improving energy security. The activities of this forum are focused on education, research and networking.

Apart from keynote and invited lectures by world authorities and presentation of technical papers by local and international contributors, an exhibition showcasing advanced renewable energy efficiency and environmental technologies and practical solutions will also be staged in the exhibition hall of the conference venue.

Bangkok or the “ City of Angels ” , as it is popularly known, is world renowned for its many attractions, ranging from traditional, cultural heritages to the ultra-modern life styles and vibrant businesses.

With the combined experience of JGSEE and CMP, the collaboration of kyoto University , the full backing of WREN and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), and the modern facilities of BITEC, we can assure you that WREC 2009 - Asia Region will be one of the most significant events of the region in this field.
